Job description

Make a meaningful impact on students’ lives by providing essential 1:1 behavioral support in a dynamic school-based environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for a skilled Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with robust experience supporting children in educational settings. Based near Garland, TX, you’ll start this full-time, itinerant role in mid-August and help foster positive change for students across the district throughout the school year.

What you bring:

  • Active RBT certification in good standing through BACB
  • Previous school-based RBT experience (required)
  • Comfort and professionalism supporting students 1:1 across various grade levels
  • Adaptability to quickly transition to new sites as student needs progress
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Ability to provide references from your two most recent supervisors

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct 1:1 behavioral interventions and support based on student needs at individual school sites
  • Monitor, record, and report student progress for team review
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to ensure continuity of care and promote student success
  • Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA
  • Adapt support strategies as students meet milestones, with the possibility of working with different learners throughout the contract
