Behavior Technician – School-Based OpportunitiesBrockton, MA | Multiple Openings | 2026-2027 School Year

Amergis Educational Staffing is partnering with schools in Brockton, MA to hire Behavior Technicians for the upcoming school year. We currently have multiple openings supporting students with behavioral, developmental, and social-emotional needs across elementary, middle, and high school settings.

Position Details
  • Start Date: August 31, 2026
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday
  • 32.5 Hours per Week
  • 39-Week School Year
  • No Nights, Weekends, or Holidays
School Hours
  • High School: 7:20 AM - 2:30 PM
  • Middle School: 7:45 AM - 2:45 PM
  • Elementary School: 9:00 AM - 3:15 PM
Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 and small-group behavioral support
  • Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
  • Collect and document student data
  • Support students with communication, social, and coping skills
  • Assist with crisis prevention and de-escalation strategies
  • Collaborate with teachers, BCBAs, and school staff
Qualifications
  • Experience working with children or adolescents with behavioral needs
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • ABA, behavior management, or school-based experience preferred
  • RBT certification preferred, but not required

The Behavior Technician works to facilitate educational and behavioral services with children and adults with special needs and collaborates with school professionals and other behavioral specialists to achieve learning and behavioral goals and objectives.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred
  • Current CPR if applicable
  • TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable   
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
