Headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland, we operate a network of 10 bakeries and 30 distribution centers across the country to deliver fresh, high-quality baked goods nationwide, from fast food and quick-service restaurants to cafeterias, hospitals, grocery stores and universities to name a few. The HR Assistant will be responsible for daily collection efforts and will resolve discrepancies and past due balances. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, detail-oriented professional to be Collections/responsible for supporting the office/HR Department. The HR Assistant must have previous experience speaking to customers about outstanding accounts and proven success with resolution.
In this role you will:

  • Answer all incoming calls retrieve messages from voice mail Monitor the front door and sign in all visitors or refer to appropriate Generate daily ticket update
  • Run weekly/monthly statements and mail file and pull invoices as needed.
  • Maintain all new hires applications.
  • Facilitates and/or co-facilitate the orientation Class. Prepare new hires packets for Orientation.
  • Assist the H/R Manager and department co-workers with related duties as directed. Covers for Office manager when needed.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to speak English, bilingual skills preferred.
  • High School diploma required, bachelor’s degree is a plus. Proficient excel skills are required.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player in a fast-paced environment with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prior office experience, HR Experience preferred. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong conflict resolution skills.
