As a Scheduler you will play a key role in planning and scheduling activities on a variety of Nuclear and DOE projects. This hands-on role will give you the opportunity to directly impact the scheduling outcome over a broad range of projects in various stages of development and progress. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, designers, procurement staff, construction managers, subcontractors, and project services personnel to develop comprehensive project schedules from conceptual planning through design, construction, and operational startup.

  • Utilize engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) terminology and methodologies to create and maintain critical path logic networks; leverage historical data to support realistic planning and forecasting.

  • Ensure all scheduling activities comply with site-specific certified Earned Value Management System (EVMS) standards.

  • Conduct data analysis to identify scheduling issues and implement corrective actions and recommendations.

  • Gather and validate schedule inputs across all disciplines and functions.

  • Coordinate with all departments to ensure alignment and understanding of total project schedule requirements.

  • Oversee the integration of all schedule activities into a unified project timeline.

  • Manage and implement change control processes as necessary to maintain schedule integrity.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent technical training and experience.

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction scheduling.

  • Proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6 scheduling software.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • U.S. Citizenship required to obtain facility-specific security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and with minimal supervision.

  • Skilled in presenting schedule briefings to senior leadership.

  • Flexible and responsive to urgent proposal/project requests and shifting priorities.

  • Proven ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions.
