Job description

Hillman Flooring & Design has been providing professional, high-quality design, remodeling, and installation services to the greater Atlanta area since 1990.  We’re a family-owned company and have the second generation moving forward with the same passion that has been the cornerstone of Hillman since the beginning. We are a small company focused on big results!

We are looking for a high-energy, bilingual (English & Spanish), team player to join our team as an Installation Manager to help manage the tile, carpet, and hardwood subcontractor base who support our sales team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Job Scheduling - receive schedule requests, confirm material ETA, call crew and confirm availability
  • Communicate with installers and confirm ETA to on jobs and arrivals (every morning).
  • Get daily updates from installers on job status, materials needed, issues and any changes in completion date.
  • Call installers at the end of the day to confirm that they are coming in the following morning. (if they are scheduled to start a new job)
  • You will be the initial contact for installers with questions. 
  • Review work orders with installers and confirm that they are complete with sales rep. Allow up on additional materials needed for current jobs (expedite) and coordinate material pick up or delivery
  • Schedule repairs – receive repair request and detailed repair order from project manager, confirm material availability and call installer to schedule. Requests may be sent from field managers, builders and/or sales rep.
  • Review and approve installation crew pay with field manager.

Warehouse Management:

  • Manage personal who manages goods in warehouse in/out throughout day using forklift, and physical labor.
  • Generate Pick tickets for new jobs that need to be pulled by warehouse personal.
  • Managing warehouse personal who checks in daily shipped materials.
  • Direct warehouse personal on staging job pallets going out for the week.
