Job description

The Scheduling Coordinator will work with the Operations & Sales Manager and Energy Efficiency Auditors on the utility program sales team. Responsibilities include supporting the program's sales team by generating and scheduling leads that convert to energy efficiency projects. This position reports to the Operations & Sales Manager. Time will be split between conducting outbound calling and in-field prospecting depending on business needs and the ability to meet lead generation goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support and work in collaboration with the sales team to generate qualified leads daily.
  • Meet lead generation goals as determined by the Operations & Sales Manager.
  • Source new sales opportunities primarily through in-field prospecting and outbound cold calls/emails.
  • Communicate and liaise with the sales team to schedule new leads for Sales Team.
  • Research prospects, identify key decision makers, and generate interest.
  • Verify customer's eligibility for programs.
  • Close sales opportunities from the proposed not-sold pipeline.
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate energy efficiency auditor for further development.
  • Document as required call data as required for call campaigns in the appropriate system.
  • Distribute program sales leads through accurate data entry per management.
  • Represent the company and abide by all safety and employee guidelines.
  • Maintain and protect all company equipment issued.

Job Requirements / Qualifications:

  • 1-2 or more years of inside or outside sales, call center, or customer service experience.
  • 2 or more years of sales experience preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks to ensure timely delivery of high-quality deliverables.
  • Strong phone presence and clear speaking voice.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders while delivering excellent customer service in a highly dynamic growth environment.
  • Team Player with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving, entrepreneurial work environment.
  • Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Teams).
  • Lighting or Energy Efficiency Background preferred but not required.
  • 20 to 80% travel within Allegany and Garrett Counties depending on business needs.
