Join our Home Support team as Scheduling Coordinator!

As a Scheduling Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and managing the coordination, scheduling, and staffing of Home Support Services. This role includes ensuring appropriate caregiver coverage, responding to client and employee scheduling needs, and assisting with the non-clinical supervision of Home Care Aides. The Scheduler Coordinator works closely with clients, caregivers, and management to maintain service continuity, support workforce efficiency, and promote high-quality care delivery. Responsibilities include coordinating staff assignments, addressing scheduling conflicts, monitoring service coverage, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

How you will make an impact:

  • Works collaboratively with care providers in matching them with residents to strive for consistency in care.

  • Educates residents and families about the program and services offered

  • Evaluate and recommend services based upon resident needs.

  • Manages resident schedules for private duty care as indicated on the care plan.

  • Triages resident, family, and employee questions and issues.

  • Provides guidance and supervision to Aides for non-clinical performance issues

  • Promotes effective teamwork to ensure high-quality service delivery, coordinated care, and strong interdisciplinary collaboration.

What you will need:

  • Experience in home care, healthcare, or environment serving the senior population preferred

  • Computer proficiency required

  • Knowledge of scheduling preferred

  • Strong communication skills

  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with keen attention to detail

  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse workforce and resident population

  • Participation in on-call coverage on a rotational basis is required

  • Previous supervisory experience is a plus
