Overview
The Staffing Office is responsible for assisting with the staffing and scheduling coordination for the inpatient operations. The Scheduling Assistant will have working knowledge of the scheduling system, and the ability to make updates and corrections to the schedule in real time. The Staffing Office plays an important role in ensuring that inpatient units are scheduled and staffed efficiently and effectively for each shift, and assists with filling open shifts when needed

Responsibilities
Provides Kronos scheduler end-user assistance Facilitates Carle Health employee redeployment efforts Coordinates inpatient daily staffing through forecasting, daily review and reporting, tracking and entering schedule updates, and extra shift initiatives Provides support for timekeeper functions Creates and maintains Hospital inpatient and clinical support services staff schedules according to departmental and housewide standards, to facilitate productivity, stewardship, and efficiency Reviews future departmental schedules to manage schedule change requests in such a way that preserves the balanced schedule Coordinates the effort to fill open shifts based on forecasted need Provides accurate data entry, information retrieval, and reporting Assists in serving as a resource to staff, unit leaders, and house officers on policies, procedures, and office activites, as well as on the scheduling system. Answers telephone, and takes and delivers messages according to department communication standards. Provides administrative, secretarial, and clerical support for department.

Compensation and Benefits
The compensation range for this position is $17.67per hour - $28.63per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
