SCCM Engineer

Randstad Digital is seeking an experienced SCCM Engineer to support our client in Washington, DC. This role involves engineering, packaging, and deploying software within a Windows Client environment, utilizing Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and other packaging tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Windows client computing platforms, automation scripting, and deployment technologies, working closely with IT teams to ensure seamless software distribution and endpoint management.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze requirements and define testing plans.
  • Engineer and package software for automated installation on Windows-based systems.
  • Design innovative solutions for software deployment, recommending short-term alternatives when needed.
  • Serve as a backup for the Software Deployment Lead.
  • Partner with Client Computing Image Management and Digital Experience teams for deployment support.
  • Utilize SCCM, InstallShield, MS PowerShell Deployment Toolkit, Wise Installer, Windows Installer, Orca, and other MSI packaging tools.
  • Develop and maintain scripts using PowerShell, Batch, and other scripting languages.
  • Provide deep technical support for Windows client computing platforms.
  • Experience with Intune is a plus.
