Job description

Our client is seeking experienced MECM Packaging Consultants to support a large-scale enterprise application packaging initiative. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who have deep experience packaging, testing, and deploying applications in Microsoft endpoint management environments and can quickly contribute to a high-volume project team.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM), PowerShell scripting, application deployment automation, and software packaging best practices.

Responsibilities
  • Package, test, and deploy applications using MECM/SCCM
  • Create and modify MSI and MST packages
  • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to support application deployments
  • Utilize PSADT (PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit) for application packaging and deployment
  • Troubleshoot packaging and deployment issues
  • Conduct application testing and validation prior to production deployment
  • Document packaging processes, installation procedures, and deployment requirements
  • Collaborate with endpoint management and infrastructure teams to support project objectives
  • Follow established packaging standards and deployment processes
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of enterprise application packaging experience
  • Hands-on experience with MECM/SCCM application packaging and deployment
  • Strong PowerShell scripting skills
  • Experience with MSI and MST creation and modification
  • Experience troubleshooting application deployment issues
  • Understanding of Windows desktop operating systems and enterprise application delivery
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple packaging efforts simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
  • Microsoft Intune application packaging experience
