Job description

The Night Warehouse Associate is essential to keeping overnight operations running smoothly and on schedule. This role handles loading, unloading, scanning, and staging products with speed and precision, ensuring accurate flow for both inbound and outbound shipments. Success in this position means maintaining organized staging areas, verifying lane accuracy, and consistently meeting tight timelines with a high level of quality.

In This Role

  • Load and unload product from trailers, containers, and staging areas efficiently and safely
  • Complete threshold scans to accurately move product through required system checkpoints
  • Verify lane assignments to ensure product is staged in the correct location for processing or shipment
  • Stage received and outbound product according to operational standards and workflow requirements
  • Confirm product accuracy during loading and unloading, identifying and resolving discrepancies as needed
  • Maintain accurate scanning and documentation throughout all product movement processes
  • Ensure staging lanes remain organized, clearly labeled, and accessible for operational efficiency
  • Follow all established procedures for handling, scanning, and verifying product
  • Communicate issues, delays, or discrepancies to leadership in a timely manner
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies in loading, staging, or scanning processes
  • Other duties as assigned, in accordance with training and qualifications

The Ideal Person

  • 1+ year of experience in warehouse/distribution center operations
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with warehouse management systems, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and maneuver items up to 225 lbs with assistance
  • Comfortable with continuous walking, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, and reaching for up to 8 hours per day in a warehouse environment
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
  • Steel-toed boots or shoes are required during work hours
