As a scrum master, you're passionate about outcomes and supporting a development team that's modernizing mission critical projects. You know the importance of Agile best practices and how to combat challenges early to get work done. We need an experienced scrum master like you to create solutions that'll ensure systems supporting our missions remain on track.
On our team, you'll coach a development team to their highest performance level, while ensuring the scrum project is successfully progressed. You'll ensure scrum principles and approaches are understood correctly by the team and key stakeholders. Using JIRA you'll strengthen sustainable process improvements to help your team accomplish sprint planning, sprint reviews, sprint retrospectives, requirements definition, schedule, or dependency tracking.
In this role, you'll directly impact the Intelligence Community by creating software that enables mission. This is an opportunity to grow your experience in being a scrum master and team leader for software development, cloud development, AI/ML efforts, on-premises hardware migrations, and large-scale data engineering efforts while successfully delivering project solutions that will improve national security.

You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile coach
  • 5+ years of experience with Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kaban
  • 5+ years of experience using task management software such as Jira
  • 5+ years of experience creating Jira dashboards, roadmaps, or dependency maps
  • 5+ years of experience managing releases and versions with Jira
  • 5+ years of experience managing a portfolio of teams in Jira
  • 5+ years of experience in Software Development, DevOps, AI and ML, or IT fields
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience automating tasks with scripts such as Python or PowerShell
  • Experience with AWS, OCI, or Azure
  • Experience with Sponsor A&A process and systems
  • Experience working on a large team
  • Possession of excellent troubleshooting, problem solving, communication, and documentation skills
  • Scrum Master or Agile methodologies Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
