  • Assist in evaluating AI model performance, providing feedback on weak points.
  • Understand and implement either customer specifications or standard grading rules for image processing.
  • Submit labeled images for review and align adapting to the team's feedback.
  • Participate in team discussions in person or via Teams/Outlook.

  • Excellent time management and ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency in technology & software.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and learn new tools/processes.

Education & Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in wood science from any combination of work or academic studies.
  • Bachelor's degree in any field (preferred but not required).
  • Wood Grading Certification (bonus points).

Physical & Travel Requirements

  • Occasionally required to handle lumber samples in a lab setting.
  • May require occasional travel for job-related duties.

Location & Hours

This position is based onsite at our office in Corvallis, Oregon. Regular in-office presence is required. Some hybrid work (1-2 days per week) may be granted after an initial onboarding of 6 months.
