Why UKG

At UKG, the work you do matters. The code you ship, the decisions you make, and the care you show a customer all add up to real impact. Today, tens of millions of workers start and end their days with our workforce operating platform. Helping people get paid, grow in their careers, and shape the future of their industries. That’s what we do.

We never stop learning. We never stop challenging the norm. We push for better, and we celebrate the wins along the way. Here, you’ll get flexibility that’s real, benefits you can count on, and a team that succeeds together. Because at UKG, your work matters—and so do you.

About the Team

UKG is building a material growth business around AI, Workforce Intelligence, data products, and agentic capabilities. The AI GTM team helps translate UKG’s AI and data innovation into executive-level customer value, repeatable field motions, differentiated market positioning, and scalable revenue impact.

The team partners across Product Management, Product Marketing, Sales, Solution Consulting, and executive leadership to support strategic customer pursuits, create market proof points, capture field and customer feedback, and enable the field to credibly sell AI and Workforce Intelligence capabilities.

About the Role

The Principal Field Advisor of AI & WF Transformation is a senior customer-facing GTM specialist who partners with Enterprise Sales teams to accelerate strategic opportunities involving AI, Workforce Intelligence, data products, and agentic capabilities. Serving as a trusted advisor to customers and internal stakeholders, this role helps translate UKG's AI innovation into compelling business outcomes, executive-level value, and differentiated commercial opportunities.

Operating at the intersection of Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Strategy, the AI Specialist supports high-priority pursuits by leading executive discovery conversations, shaping AI strategy discussions, developing solution and demo strategies, guiding proof-of-concept approaches, building business cases, addressing competitive and adoption concerns, and helping drive opportunities to successful outcomes.

Beyond individual deals, the Principal Field Advisor - AI & WF Transformation plays a critical role in scaling UKG's AI business by identifying repeatable market patterns and developing reusable sales plays, executive narratives, value frameworks, customer proof points, competitive positioning, industry use cases, and enablement content that empower the field to confidently position and sell UKG AI capabilities.

This role also serves as a key voice of the customer, synthesizing customer feedback, market trends, competitive intelligence, adoption barriers, and emerging AI use cases into actionable recommendations that influence product strategy, messaging, packaging, commercialization, and go-to-market priorities.

This is a commercial GTM role, distinct from technical AI specialist positions. Success in this role requires the ability to translate complex AI and data capabilities into simple, compelling business value for executive buyers while helping shape how UKG's AI portfolio is positioned, adopted, and scaled as a long-term growth business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with Enterprise account teams on strategic AI, Workforce Intelligence, data, and agentic capability opportunities.

  • Lead executive discovery, AI strategy discussions, and value-based customer engagements.

  • Shape solution vision, demo strategy, proof-of-concept approaches, business cases, and competitive positioning.

  • Develop executive-ready narratives, customer proof points, and value frameworks that accelerate AI adoption.

  • Create repeatable sales plays, enablement assets, and industry use cases that scale field effectiveness.

  • Capture and communicate market insights, customer needs, adoption barriers, and competitive intelligence to influence business strategy.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Management, Product Marketing, Solution Consulting, Sales Enablement, Customer Success, and Sales Leadership to drive AI commercialization and market adoption.

About You Basic Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise software, SaaS, AI, data, analytics, workforce technology, HCM, solution strategy, value consulting, product GTM, or strategic selling.

  • Experience supporting or influencing large enterprise opportunities and serving as a trusted advisor to executive buyers and senior customer stakeholders.

  • Strong understanding of AI, analytics, data products, workflow automation, or agentic technologies, with the ability to translate complex technical capabilities into compelling business outcomes and executive-level value.

  • Experience building scalable GTM motions, field assets, executive messaging, customer proof points, value frameworks, enablement content, or specialist sales plays.

  • Strong executive communication, facilitation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas for customers, sellers, and senior leaders.

  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize customer feedback, market trends, and competitive intelligence into actionable recommendations that influence GTM strategy, commercial priorities, and product direction.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in HCM, Workforce Management, Payroll, Workforce Intelligence, frontline operations, healthcare, retail, manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or other workforce-intensive industries.

  • Experience supporting or scaling a new product category, emerging technology business, AI platform, or data-driven commercial motion.

  • Experience leading executive briefings, AI strategy discussions, value engineering engagements, ROI modeling, lighthouse customer programs, or strategic account pursuits.

  • Experience partnering with Product Management, Product Marketing, Solution Consulting, Sales Enablement, Customer Success, and Enterprise Sales to shape commercial strategy and market adoption.

  • Experience creating AI sales plays, executive narratives, industry use cases, competitive positioning, proof-of-concept frameworks, demo strategies, or executive-ready customer materials.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify emerging customer needs, define high-value AI use cases, and influence how AI capabilities are positioned, packaged, and commercialized across the business.
