We'd love to have you as a shareholder! **YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:**The Interconnection Project Manager is responsible for overseeing project interconnections from a technical engineering perspective to guarantee that project complies with the project requirements and all engineering IEEE/ANSI standards, applicable codes, and the scope of work.The PM should have knowledge of most aspects of HV electrical engineering and SCADA interface – as an example, while not conducting the work, the individual should be able to review and comment on any of the below with minimal support from other staff;* Interconnection requirements and compliance, especially in ERCOT territory* HV Transmission and Substation SLD/Layouts* SCADA design and it’s coordination with the utilityThe ability to assume responsibility, interface, and coordinate with others is required as portions of the design will be subcontracted out which is managed by the Interconnection PM.**WHAT YOU’LL DO:*** Select, scope, and oversee subcontractors assigned to your work or project. In this instance, the individual must be comfortable and capable to supervise a design group of 1-4 subcontractors for a single project and may oversee multiple projects.* Be able to completely review a contract for potential pitfalls or highlight obligations of REI to the utility.* Assist REI Project Management in incorporating obligations required under the utility agreements into the project design.* Assist REI Project Management in utility requirements surrounding energization and assist in performance obligations leading up to Project COD* Knowledge of SCADA architecture and comm block diagrams to assist in preliminary scope and communication of design intent to the interconnecting utilities* Familiarity of metering concepts and SCADA points lists for exchange of information to the utilities* Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and Excel to develop in order to communicate conceptual SLD, Layout, transmission lines... with little to no support.* Back-check for quality assurance the work of design packages assembled by subcontractors.* In instances prior to contract award, assist the closeout team with review and markup of contract documents.* Regularly represent REI in both client facing and Utility facing calls and meetings.* The duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position. This is not a complete listing and other duties will be assigned based on the positions role within the business unit.* Assist in Marketing of the firm.**WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:*** Ability to work on multiple projects at any time.Designs can be 3-6 months in duration with multiple proceeding at the same time while supporting estimating with bid packages* Fluency with remote productivity software such as Box, Cisco, GoTo Meeting...* Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)* Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others**WHAT YOU BRING TO US:*** A four-year degree from an accredited university or college in engineering or construction sciences with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in construction of renewable HV Substation and Transmission Projects* The ability to assume responsibility, interface, and coordinate with others is essential, as is the ability to analyze and resolve complex problems* Can be a combination of education, training and relevant experience**TRAVEL:*** Visits to Anaheim, CA to coordinate with the other HV engineers as needed* Visit to Project Sites as needed**WORKING CONDITIONS:*** General work environment – sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending.
