This role requires strong project management skills, technical expertise, and an understanding of IT systems, will work in a manufacturing environment, and will have the opportunity to display critical thinking skills to expand a career in Smart Manufacturing.Â
Responsibilities
- Lead IT projects related to SMT manufacturing, ensuring timely and cost-effective implementation. Â
- Develop project plans, scope, objectives, and timelines while coordinating with cross-functional teams. Â
- Oversee the deployment and integration of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and other IT solutions. Â
- Work closely with production, engineering, and quality assurance teams to align IT solutions with operational needs. Â
- Manage IT infrastructure projects, including hardware, software, and networking solutions for manufacturing facilities. Â
- Identify potential risks, troubleshoot IT-related issues, and develop mitigation strategies. Â
- Ensure IT security, compliance, and best practices are followed in all projects. Â
- Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to procure and implement IT solutions. Â
- Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective adoption of new technologies. Â
- Monitor project progress, generate reports, and communicate updates to stakeholders.Â

Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-3 years' Manufacturing or IT experience requiredÂ
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Â
- Strong understanding of SMT manufacturing processes and related IT systems. Â
- Experience with MES, ERP, SCADA, and other industrial automation systems. Â
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall). Â
- Solid knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and networking. Â
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills. Â
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities. Â
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is a plus.Â
- Proficiency in Office 365 applicationsÂ
