Job Summary
This intermediate level position completes assigned tasks in order to perform fitting and welding work on compression and production equipment.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person
  • Work with SMAW, GMAW, SCAW, and SAW welding processes
  • Work independently as well as in a team environment focusing on teamwork and unity
  • Layout structural and piping components using hand tools
  • Position fixtures, jigs, pin wheels, rolls, etc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Job Specific Skills
  • Intermediate ability to perform basic welding techniques
  • Intermediate abilityto read and understand blueprints
  • Intermediate ability to interpret customer's specifications and applicable industry codes and standards
  • Possess basic computer skills, communication skills, and customer service skills

Education & Experience
Minimum: High school diploma or GED and 2 years related work experience or an equivalent substitution for education of 6 - 9 years related work experience
