Job description

Electromechanical Assembler
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour (Based on Experience)
Location: Worcester County, MA
Job Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

Job Description:

Savvy Staffing Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Electromechanical Assembler to join a growing manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with soldering experience or those looking to build a career in electronics manufacturing. The ideal candidate has strong manual dexterity, enjoys working with small components, and takes pride in producing high-quality work.

Responsibilities:

  • Hand solder electronic components and wiring assemblies.
  • Assemble electromechanical products using hand tools and production equipment.
  • Follow assembly instructions, wiring diagrams, and manufacturing procedures.
  • Test completed assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Perform quality inspections throughout the assembly process.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, or rework assemblies as needed.
  • Report assembly issues to the production supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Previous soldering experience or soldering training preferred.
  • Ability to pass an internal soldering certification.
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to assemble small, detailed components accurately.
  • Manufacturing or assembly experience is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions and wiring diagrams.
  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods while performing assembly work.
  • Perform repetitive hand assembly and soldering tasks.
  • Lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Good visual acuity for inspecting small components and finished products.
