Job description

We are seeking a Furniture Outlet Sales Associate for our new store in Holland, OH. Join our team and help us create a delightful place to shop for our customers. This individual will serve customers in a friendly manner and offer detailed information and specifications about merchandise. The ideal candidate will have a passion for furniture, a keen eye for design, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, assist with inquiries, and provide detailed product information. Ensure a pleasant and engaging shopping experience.
  • Sales: Actively drive sales through effective merchandising, promotions, and personalized customer service. Help customers find products that meet their needs and preferences.
  • Inventory Control: Assist in stocking and tracking merchandise. Ensure shelves are well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing.
  • Store Operations: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the store. Assist in cash handling and financial transactions to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Communication: Maintain strong communication skills. Collaborate effectively with team members and report to the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
  • Compliance: Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and legal regulations to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Availability: Evening and weekend availability required. Store hours are Monday - Saturday 10 AM - 7 PM and Sunday 12 PM - 6 PM
  • Education: High School Diploma
  • Experience: Previous retail experience preferred, especially in sales and customer service roles.
  • Skills: Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Pay Summary
Expected offer range: $15/hour plus sales commission. The actual salary will be based on factors such as relevant experience and skills.
You will earn a 5% commission on your individual net sales.
