Job description

SUMMARY:

The Security Officer will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of the facility. The primary responsibilities include controlling access to the site, monitoring surveillance systems, conducting routine patrols, and responding to emergencies or incidents. They ensure compliance with security protocols, manage visitor logs, and perform safety inspections. Additionally, they provide administrative support by maintaining records, managing security badges, and coordinating with site personnel.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


• Follow and support company safety policies.

• Welcome guests, audit security and safety assets, and report any issues.

• Track visitor and contractor sign-ins and ensure proper registration.

• Monitor security cameras and report any incidents.

• Work with HR to keep sensitive matters confidential.

• Manage employee badges and locker assignments.

• Lead and assist in emergencies (medical, fire, weather, etc.).

• Patrol and inspect interior and exterior of facility to ensure site and personnel safety

• Maintain housekeeping standards in your area.

• Other duties as assigned
