We are currently seeking experienced Satellite Installation Technicians, Satellite TV Installers, and Field Service Technicians to support installations for:

  • DIRECTV
  • Viasat
  • Leo
  • Fixed Wireless

As demand for satellite internet and rural connectivity continues to grow, this role provides strong earning potential and long-term opportunities for technicians with installation experience.

SUMMARY: As a Satellite Installation Technician, you will install and service residential satellite TV and internet systems for customers in your assigned service area.

WHAT YOUโ€™LL DO:

  • Review work orders and prepare equipment for installation
  • Travel to residential customer locations to perform service installations
  • Install and mount satellite dishes and receivers
  • Install and configure DIRECTV, Viasat, and Starlink systems
  • Run interior and exterior wiring to connect satellite systems
  • Program and activate satellite receivers and equipment
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot signal, connectivity, or equipment issues
  • Perform repairs, upgrades, and equipment replacements
  • Test satellite signal quality and system performance
  • Educate customers on how to use their equipment and services
  • Provide professional, high-quality customer service during each installation
  • Ensure installations meet quality, safety, and provider standards

Experience operating the following equipment is highly valued:

  • Satellite dish installation equipment
  • Signal meters and diagnostic tools
  • Exterior mounting hardware
  • Ladders and roof-access equipment
  • Cabling and wiring tools

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Previous experience installing satellite TV, broadband internet, or telecom systems preferred
  • High School Diploma / GED preferred
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
  • Ability to work full-time including evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed
  • Must have reliable vehicle capable of carrying an extension ladder (SUV, truck, or van preferred)
  • Comfortable working at heights and on rooftops
  • Ability to lift and carry installation equipment
  • Strong customer service and communication skills

WORK HOURS & LOCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • This is a field-based role requiring full-time travel to customer locations, within a <100-mile service area around Detroit, Michigan.
  • The typical schedule is 40-50 hours per week, including alternating weekends as needed.
