Job Title: PL/SQL Developer


Location: Jersey City, NJ 07302


Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 day a week in the office)


Client Industry: Banking


Duration: 12 - 18 Months Contract (Possibility of FTE conversion)


Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM 5 PM EST


About the Role


We are hiring a PL/SQL Developer to join our client on a contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with one of the most innovative banking companies in the U.S. You ll help drive business outcomes, tech goals, transformation, etc.


Key Responsibilities



  • Convert and migrate legacy Mainframe SAS processes to SQL/PLSQL.

  • Analyze existing Mainframe SAS workflows and redesign logic for Oracle-based execution.

  • Collaborate with the technology manager for status reporting, planning, and delivery oversight.

  • Ensure accuracy, performance, and reliability of Oracle-based solutions.

  • Utilize Python for automation, data processing, or migration tasks as needed.

  • Use JIRA for work management within an Agile or hybrid environment.

  • Support team members and contribute to a collaborative, delivery-focused environment.


What We re Looking For



  • Expert-level proficiency in the latest OracleDB version.

  • Strong experience in SQL and PL/SQL programming.

  • Proven experience in database design and data modeling.

  • Hands-on experience in performance tuning and query optimization.

  • Proficiency in TOAD and similar database management tools.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.


Compensation


Hourly Rate: $65 $68 per hour
This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
