Job Description

Location: Mettawa, IL, 60045

Duration: 24 months+ (Possibilities of extension)

Job Description:

Perform SAS programming and statistical analyses using large medical claims data, electronic medical records data, survey, and clinical trial data etc.

Develop analysis plan and summarize the results into reports and publications

Act as data and statistical consultant to other SAS programmers and researchers

COMPETENCIES:

Analyze problem or new request; design problem or new request resolution; familiar with SDLC methodologies; develop program specifications; design testing requirements; code modules according to specifications and client standards; prepare test plan and test modules; develop program and system documentation; conduct program and system implementation; maintain application production environment; respond and resolve production problems; and respond and resolve user inquiries.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Business Administration or equivalent training or work experience. Minimum of two years as a software developer.

1. At least 5 years of SAS programming experience in the pharmaceutical industry and/or CRO health-related consulting company

2. At least 2 years of experience in large medical claims data.

3. Proficient in SAS MACRO and SQL

4. Familiar with statistical models

5. Master degree in statistics or related area.
