Title: Data Engineer (SAS Programmer)
Location: Remote (EST / CST preferred)
Duration: 6 Month Contract
Our client is seeking a Data Engineer (SAS Programmer) to support SAS modernization efforts by analyzing existing workflows, evaluating conversion complexity, and developing scalable data pipelines as part of a cloud migration initiative.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
  • Analyze existing SAS workflows and define reusable SAS patterns
  • Support SAS-to-modern platform conversion initiatives
  • Evaluate and validate SAS conversion complexity and feasibility
  • Develop and optimize data pipelines using Python and SQL
  • Collaborate with engineering and business teams to ensure accurate data transformation
Requirements
