Job Responsibilities

Senior Data Analyst

Programming Skills:Highly proficient in SAS or R.

Database Experience:Extensive familiarity with commercial claims and EHR databases, such as Optum, MarketScan, IQVIA PharMetrics, or HealthVerity.

Cohort Studies:Ability to conduct longitudinal cohort studies, including creating study cohorts, baseline and outcome variables from scratch.

Epidemiological Methods:Solid understanding of epidemiologic study designs and methodologies.

Statistical Expertise:Hands-on experience with basic statistical tests, regression models, and survival analysis.

Educational Background:Advanced degree in Biostatistics or Epidemiology. Preferred:Prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry, but not necessarily.

  • Extensive programming experience in SAS or other required software, preferably in a clinical trial environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
