Job description

The role is part of Spend and Benefits ECM Analytics team within the larger US Personal Banking Analytics organization. The candidate will lead the Spend Engagement program analytics to grow and improve Citi cards customer engagement on card products.
The candidate will focus on the development of comprehensive strategy recommendations based on multiple factors with an in-depth understanding of customer behavior (analytically derived); sound financial impact forecasting and thorough understanding of competitive landscape. Excellent communication skills are required to influence on large scale programs and effectively partner with a diverse group of stakeholders including senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead analytics for Spend Engagement programs to grow Citi cards customer engagement with new & relevant product offers using advanced modelling and analytical techniques.
  • Develop analytically derived omni-channel targeting, offer, and communication strategies to drive long-term profitable customer engagement and expansion opportunities.
  • Partner with Modeling team to drive modeling roadmap for the program. Lead modeling and strategy approval across all the governance forums
  • Own campaigns targeting and design to optimize profitability and manage the process to build financial forecasts supporting all Spend Engagement campaigns,
  • Oversee the monthly FYF and annual Plan forecasting by coordinating with marketing partners and lead the analytics decision management framework to drive investment decisioning.
  • End to end project management for developing strategy, building consensus with functional and senior stakeholders and implementing recommendations
  • Be accountable for audit and control requirements

Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline is required (i.e., Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, and Operations Research). Graduate degree preferred.
  • 6-10 years of experience in business/marketing analytics and campaign measurement
  • Technical skills: SAS, Python, Hadoop, Hive

Domain Skills
  • Experience in financial services/credit cards required
  • Prior experience in building and implementing Customer engagement strategy is highly desirable

Analytical Skills
  • Strong logical reasoning ability
  • Demonstrated excellent ability to translate business questions into analytical framework to generate meaningful insights
  • Excellent analytical, technical and/or statistical skills with proven ability to translate large volumes of data using SAS, SQL or Python/R
  • Experience in usage of different analytical techniques, like segmentation, predictive modeling, time series forecasting, hypothesis testing, optimization etc.
  • Established competency in working with data from multiple sources
