Job description

Dexian Government Solutions is recruiting for an Subject Matter Expert (SME) - SAS Viya Analytics Platform to support our proposal effort for the USCG FSC BOS in Chesapeake, VA.

Position Overview:

The SAS Viya SME serves as the technical and functional authority for SAS Viya analytics, reporting, data visualization, statistical analysis, and business intelligence capabilities supporting Coast Guard financial management operations. The SME supports FSC leadership, financial analysts, Oracle EBS teams, and reporting stakeholders by developing, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise reporting solutions, analytical models, dashboards, and data management processes. This role ensures FSC leadership has access to accurate, timely, and actionable information to support operational, financial, audit, and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary SME for SAS Viya architecture, capabilities, and operational support.
  • Support administration, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of SAS Viya environments.
  • Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Troubleshoot reporting, analytics, and data integration issues.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical products supporting FSC decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience supporting business intelligence, reporting, analytics, or enterprise data environments.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on SAS Viya experience.
  • Experience developing dashboards, reports, and analytical products.
  • Experience supporting enterprise data integration and reporting solutions.
  • Experience supporting federal government or large enterprise environments.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, or related discipline.

Clearance: Tier 1 Background Investigation or higher & CAC are required to Start.
