Job description


This contractor would assist with our SAP upgrade by testing Treasury processes to ensure the Treasury module will run smoothly after the upgrade, help implement key features of the SAP Treasury module that weren't implemented in the initial project, trouble shoot and solve Treasury module issues, and assist with how to structure our water subsidiaries bank accounts for optimal cash management in our SAP Treasury module. The Treasury/SAP Consultant will work collaboratively across business functions (IT, accounting, tax, and legal) to assist our Treasury Lead with implementation of solutions. The consultant should come with Treasury cash management and SAP Treasury module experience. The consultant should be able to effectively communicate and solve problems with IT.
Our Treasury cash management team provides oversight for day-to-day activities such as cash positioning, our commercial paper programs, and assists with bank account management & maintenance. In addition, the Treasury cash management function updates the cash forecast, reviews and posts Treasury's journal entries for the monthly & quarterly accounting close process and assists with monthly reporting for our executives and accounting team. The cash management team also helps with long-term debt issuances and the reporting required by our regulators.
