Job description

Position Summary
We are seeking an SAP Finance Analyst with approximately 5+ years of experience supporting finance systems in an SAP environment. This role will partner with Finance and IT teams to support day-to-day operations, system enhancements, reporting, and process improvements. The ideal candidate understands finance processes, has experience working within SAP, and enjoys working directly with business users to solve problems.
Responsibilities
  • Partner with Finance and Accounting teams to support business processes and system improvements.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
  • Support SAP Finance-related enhancements, configurations, testing, and production issues.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close activities from a systems perspective.
  • Perform system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and validate system changes.
  • Troubleshoot application issues and work with technical teams to resolve them.
  • Create and maintain functional documentation and process documentation.
  • Support reporting, data validation, and reconciliation activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Finance, and third-party vendors.
  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes and system efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • Approximately 5+ years of experience supporting SAP Finance applications.
  • Experience working with SAP Finance (FI) and familiarity with modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or Asset Accounting.
  • Understanding of accounting and financial business processes.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and supporting system enhancements.
  • Experience with testing, troubleshooting, and production support.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
  • Familiarity with SAP FICO concepts.
  • Experience supporting financial reporting and month-end close.
  • Experience with Agile project methodologies.
  • Knowledge of SAP Fiori or reporting tools is a plus.
