BVA Bears IT Solutions is seeking an SAP BRIM -User Experience (UX) Lead to work in the Middletown, PA area. This is a full time position with at least 2 days on-site and
possibly 3 days remote.
The User Experience (UX) Lead defines and delivers the end-to-end user experience for SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management (BRIM) solutions and related SAP S/4HANA components. The role partners with BRIM SMEs, functional consultants, developers, trainers, and business stakeholders to design intuitive SAP Fiori applications, streamline workflows for high-volume, consumption-based billing, and ensure accessibility, security, and compliance standards are met. The UX Lead drives discovery, research, interaction and visual design, design system governance, and usability testing across SOM, CI, CC, and integrated systems (CRM, payment gateways, mediation/usage capture).
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead UX strategy and discovery for SAP BRIM (SOM, CI, CC) processes; map personas, journeys, and task flows for billing, invoicing, dispute handling, and payment experiences.
  • Design and document SAP Fiori apps and configurations to support accountants, billing analysts, and customer service roles; recommend Fiori usage to simplify day-to-day tasks.
  • Establish and maintain a design system (components, patterns, accessibility rules) aligned to SAP Fiori design guidelines and organizational standards.
  • Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups; author UX specifications and acceptance criteria in Azure DevOps (ADO).
  • Conduct usability testing and heuristic evaluations; synthesize findings, KPIs, and recommendations; iterate designs based on SIT/UAT feedback.
  • Collaborate on end-to-end process design to minimize customization, leveraging SAP best practices and standard features.
  • Partner with integration teams to ensure seamless UX across CRM, payment gateways (tokenization, real-time payments), and mediation/usage capture; design for error handling and disputes.
  • Define accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and ensure Fiori applications meet compliance requirements; document controls related to PCI DSS and SOC1/SOC2.
  • Contribute to training materials and change management communications; provide UX walkthroughs and support enablement for end users.
  • Track UX metrics (task success, efficiency, satisfaction) and report trends; recommend improvements for release readiness.
  • Maintain audit-ready UX documentation, including design decisions, usability results, and configuration notes; publish in approved repositories (e.g., ServiceNow, SharePoint).

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Design, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years of UX/UI experience with enterprise systems; 2+ years working with SAP or comparable ERP platforms.
  • Hands-on experience designing for SAP Fiori and familiarity with SAP BRIM processes (SOM, CI, CC).
  • Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD), and documentation tools (Word, PowerPoint, Visio).
  • Experience capturing requirements and user stories, writing UX specs, and managing work in Azure DevOps or JIRA.

Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of payment gateway integrations, tokenization, and secure payment flow designs; awareness of PCI DSS controls and SOC1/SOC2 considerations.
  • Familiarity with SAP BTP, event-driven architecture, and API management from a UX perspective (error states, resiliency, observability).
  • Experience supporting usability aspects of data migration/cutover (e.g., delta loads), reconciliation, and dispute workflows.
  • Background in Hybrid Agile methodologies; ability to run design sprints and support continuous delivery.
  • Portfolio demonstrating enterprise UX deliverables and measurable outcomes; SAP-related certifications are a plus.
