The Work
As an SAP Controlling Consultant, you will lead, oversee, and enhance financial controlling processes within the SAP ecosystem. You will manage key areas including cost center accounting, profitability analysis, and internal orders while ensuring financial data accuracy and alignment with organizational goals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement, optimize, and support SAP Controlling (CO) modules, drive process improvements, and enable meaningful financial insights for decision-making.
Your role includes providing expert SAP Finance guidance, troubleshooting system issues, strengthening internal control compliance, and supporting financial reporting standards. Hands-on experience with SAP CO and FI will be essential, and familiarity with SAP S/4HANA, process automation solutions, financial reporting tools, and data migration techniques will further enhance your success. Experience managing SAP-driven transformations, supporting audits, and training end users will be highly valuable as you lead enhancements, integrations, and upgrades.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage SAP Controlling (CO) module implementations and enhancements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize SAP Finance processes
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP CO solutions
  • Provide expert guidance on SAP Controlling best practices and system capabilities
  • Oversee configuration, testing, and deployment of SAP CO functionalities
  • Support end-users with troubleshooting and issue resolution
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies within SAP Finance
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for SAP Finance and Controlling processes
  • Prepare and deliver documentation, training, and knowledge transfer to team members

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Controlling (CO) and Financial Accounting (FI)
  • Experience leading SAP Finance enhancements, process improvements, or system support
  • Strong understanding of cost center accounting, profitability analysis, and internal orders

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
