Job Description

The individual will be responsible for providing on-going analysis using a platform of canned reports and tools designed to monitor the health of the business impacting Supply Chain effectiveness. It is also necessary for this individual to provide proactive ad hoc analysis that will be used to inform future supply chain opportunity and effectiveness. Strong use and/or aptitude to use Business Objects, SAP, Qlikview, must have strong excel skills and any other pertinent systems is required.


Responsibilities:

Data Analysis and development of reporting useful in identifying & communicating opportunity to Customer, Sales, and CS&L stakeholders in the area of Supply Chain Initiative programs or expansion. This may include areas such as Customer Efficiencies, Transportation Optimization, Unit of Measure, Waste reduction, etc.

Provide insight in driving improvement in Supply Chain Key Performance Indicators (such as On-Time Delivery, Fill Rates, EDI match.) through data mining and trend/data analysis.

Provide support as needed to Cross Functional CS&L resources (Customer Service, Client Services, Customer Collaboration, Transportation, etc) and act as local "boots on the ground" resource to problem solve and help overcome a variety of challenges as they arise in order to efficiently service the customer's needs. Ensure seamless progress in areas such as transitions for sourcing changes, CPU/Backhaul needs, capacity issues and similar opportunity.

Assist in preparation and periodically participate in customer presentation and engage directly with customers (internally and externally) on specific Initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree

At least 2 years of Project Management, organization, and multi-tasking 

At least 2 years of experience in customer interfacing

At least 2 years of analytical capabilities - Interpretation and gathering

At least 2 years of database manipulation - Business Objects, SAP, Qlikview - can be learned, advanced in excel. 

At least 2 years of General/Basic background in functional area

At least 2 years of Supply Chain and Logistics management
