Their responsibilities also include gathering user requirements, optimizing queries, and ensuring data accuracy and security within the BI environment.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a SAP Business Objects Developer?

You Are:

An SAP data management specialist with deep expertise in System Landscape Optimization (SLO) tools and methodologies. Your technical superpower? Architecting and executing complex system landscape transformations-mergers, carve-outs, data migrations-using industry-leading tools like Data Migration for SAP (DMLT), SNP Transformation Backbone, and SAP Landscape Transformation Replication Server (SLT). You bring hands-on experience guiding clients through high-stakes data transformation programs and thrive in fast-paced, multi-workstream environments. Your communication skills are just as sharp as your technical skills-you can translate complex data challenges into clear roadmaps for client stakeholders.

The Work:

  • Design and execute SAP SLO-based system landscape transformation programs including mergers, divestitures, and carve-outs using tools such as DMLT, SNP Transformation Backbone, and SLT.

  • Lead end-to-end data migration planning, analysis, and execution activities across SAP ERP, S/4HANA, and related systems.

  • Configure and operate SAP Landscape Transformation Replication Server (SLT) for real-time data replication scenarios.

  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to define migration objects, transformation rules, and data mapping strategies.

  • Perform system analysis, data profiling, and gap assessments to identify transformation risks and mitigation strategies.

  • Support cutover planning, rehearsals, and go-live execution for SLO-driven transformation projects.

  • Advise client stakeholders on SAP SLO best practices, tool selection, and phased migration approaches.

Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

    Here's What You Need:

    • A minimum of 5 years of SAP experience with at least 3 years specifically focused on SAP SLO tools including DMLT, SNP Transformation Backbone, or SAP LT Replication Server (SLT).

    • A minimum of 2 full end-to-end SAP system landscape transformation or data migration implementations (merger, carve-out, or harmonization).

    • A minimum of 3 years of experience with SAP S/4HANA data migration concepts, including LTMC/LTMOM or equivalent migration tooling.

    • A minimum of 2 years of experience working with SAP data structures and business objects across at least two functional areas (e.g., FI, CO, MM, SD, PP).

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (12 years) work experience (If an Associate's Degree, then 6 years of work experience required).

    Bonus Points If:

    • You have a SAP Certified Application Associate or Professional certification in SAP S/4HANA Migration or related area.

    • You have experience with SNP Cockpit, SNP CrystalBridge, or Natuvion Data Provisioning Platform.

    • You have familiarity with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and integration patterns relevant to migration scenarios.

    • You have prior experience working in a Big 4 or global systems integrator consulting environment.

    • You have experience supporting client-facing workshops, solution design sessions, or executive steering committee presentations.
