Job description

Description:

Our company is looking for a Sandblaster or Blasting Operator and Spray Painter to join our team. We are looking for an individual to perform sandblasting and spray painting 500-gallon and 1000-gallon propane tanks.



Duties and Responsibilities

  • Remove dirt, paint, grease, and other built-up material from surfaces
  • Operate a blast booth or similar equipment
  • Assist with painting or coating as needed
  • Apply and remove non-skid materials as needed


Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED certificate
  • Previous sandblasting or painting experience a plus
  • Follow HAZMAT safety standards
  • Experience working with or removing heavy metals a plus
  • Able to sit, bend and reach overhead as part of daily activities
  • Able to lift 60+ lbs
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical
  • Ability to follow established processes
  • Familiarity with power tools
  • Ability to operate a forklift
