Job description

POSITION SUMMARY: The sandblasters duties would include sandblasting, keep the sandblaster cleaned out and work on all phases of the paint department as necessary.
RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS:
1. Operate Sand Blaster
• Learn the safe operation of the sand blasting area
• Perform sand blasting in a safe and efficient manner
• Keep your work areas cleaned up
• Dispose of trash in the and the facility weather in trash receptacles or around loose.
• Perform required workplace and equipment pre-shift inspections
2. Clean Up Blaster
• Clean out Sand Blaster to keep the operations going without delay.
• Do any loader work that needs done at the operation
3. Do any other work as assigned and trained to do
• Do any assigned work to the best of your ability and training
• Perform required workplace and equipment pre-shift or post-shift inspections
4. Tell the Foreman and Manager of safety hazards

Physical Demands include, but are not limited to:
• Access all areas within a site which could include heights, confined spaces, climbing ladders or stairs.
• Will be working at times in office environment but mainly in a manufacturing environment.
• The employee will be exposed to the following working conditions: Extreme Heat and Cold, Noise, Vibration, Oils, and Atmospheric Conditions such as Dust, Fumes, and Mineral Particles.
• The employee will be required to perform the following actions (from time to time): Standing, walking, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, talking, seeing, hearing and sitting.
• Ability to consistently lift over 50 pounds as needed
Required Experience: 1 year of industrial Experience
Preferred Experience: 3-5 years of industrial experience
Required Education: Relevant combination of education and experience
Preferred Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
