This position is designed for a remote working arrangement, allowing you to balance your professional responsibilities with personal commitments. Our operational hours align with regular business hours, from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting in-depth clinical assessments to thoroughly evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.
  • Collaborating with clients to develop personalized treatment plans, ensuring they are tailored to specific goals and therapeutic preferences.
  • Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address mood disorders effectively.
  • Providing ongoing education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, outlining treatment options, and encouraging self-care strategies.
  • Monitoring client progress throughout the treatment journey, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
  • Working closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to care.
  • Staying abreast of the latest research and trends in the field of mood disorders to continually refine treatment methods.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of your work will be with individuals facing mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Qualifications
  • Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Florida.
  • Proficiency in evidence-based treatment methodologies tailored to mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.
  • Strong collaborative skills to effectively work with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a proven ability to establish rapport with clients from a wide range of backgrounds.
Preferred Experience
