This position is designed for a remote working arrangement, allowing you to balance your professional responsibilities with personal commitments. Our operational hours align with regular business hours, from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting in-depth clinical assessments to thoroughly evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.
• Collaborating with clients to develop personalized treatment plans, ensuring they are tailored to specific goals and therapeutic preferences.
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address mood disorders effectively.
• Providing ongoing education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, outlining treatment options, and encouraging self-care strategies.
• Monitoring client progress throughout the treatment journey, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
• Working closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to care.
• Staying abreast of the latest research and trends in the field of mood disorders to continually refine treatment methods.
• Maintaining thorough and confidential documentation of client sessions and treatment plans, complying with legal and ethical standards.
• Participating in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development opportunities to enrich your clinical expertise.
• Advocating for clients and promoting awareness around mental health issues to reduce stigma and increase accessibility to necessary services.

The primary focus of your work will be with individuals facing mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. You will support clients from various backgrounds in a therapeutic setting, leveraging your skills to guide them through their challenges, enhance their coping strategies, and facilitate their journey toward improved mental health.

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Florida.
• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment methodologies tailored to mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.
• Strong collaborative skills to effectively work with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals.
• Exceptional communication skills and a proven ability to establish rapport with clients from a wide range of backgrounds.

• A demonstrated history of achieving positive outcomes in the treatment of mood disorders.
• Experience working in outpatient settings, particularly clinics or community health organizations.
• Familiarity with psychopharmacology to support collaborative treatment efforts with prescribing physicians.
