Position Summary
The Electrical Maintenance Planner/Scheduler is responsible for converting maintenance requirements into safe, complete, and executable work plans. This position coordinates labor, materials, contractors, approvals, equipment availability, and operational requirements for electrical infrastructure supporting a large-scale semiconductor manufacturing facility.
Role and Responsibilities
Here's What You'll Be Responsible For:
  • Develop detailed job plans, including scope, labor, duration, tools, materials, permits, LOTO requirements, drawings, and step plans.
  • Build and maintain weekly, two-week, and long-range electrical maintenance schedules.
  • Verify that parts, resources, approvals, and equipment access are available before work is scheduled.
  • Coordinate planned outages and maintenance activities with Operations, Engineering, CCR, Safety, and contractors.
  • Manage preventive, corrective, and reliability-maintenance backlogs within the CMMS.
  • Prepare work packages for daily and D-1 operational approval meetings.
  • Identify scheduling conflicts, operational risks, and work that may generate alarms or affect facility systems.
  • Track planned versus actual labor, duration, and material usage to improve future estimates.
  • Monitor schedule compliance, overdue work, contractor performance, and maintenance KPIs.
  • Support continuous improvement of maintenance procedures, job plans, asset data, and CMMS work-order quality.

Skills and Qualifications
Here's what you'll need:
Minimum Qualifications
  • Nine or more years of experience in electrical maintenance, maintenance planning, scheduling, or industrial facility operations.
  • Working knowledge of electrical distribution equipment, LOTO, electrical safety, and planned outage coordination.
  • Experience developing maintenance work packages and coordinating multiple crafts or contractors.
  • Experience using a CMMS or computerized work-management system.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in semiconductor, data center, manufacturing, utility, or other critical-facility environments.
  • Knowledge of NFPA 70E, NFPA 70B, and electrical preventive-maintenance practices.
  • Experience with medium-voltage distribution, substations, switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, VFDs, generators, or protective relays.
  • Experience planning contractor-supported maintenance and reliability testing.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, scheduling software, and maintenance-performance reporting.

Success in This Role
  • Success will be measured by work-package readiness, schedule compliance, PM completion, backlog reduction, accurate labor estimates, effective resource coordination, and the safe execution of maintenance with minimal operational disruption.

The current base salary range for this role is between $41.00 - $55.00/hour.
