Position Summary

The Infra Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for planning, executing, and documenting NETA reliability tests on medium and lowvoltage equipment such as transformers, switchgear, and capacitor banks, ensuring compliance with NETA, IEC, and IEEE standards. They analyze test data, generate detailed reports, and coordinate corrective maintenance to improve asset reliability while strictly adhering to NFPA70E and OSHA safety protocols. The role also involves calibrating test instruments, supporting internal audits, and mentoring junior staff. Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills are essential.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Plan&ExecuteNETAtestingforallelectricaldistributionequipmentfallingunderNFPA70B Dataanalysis&reporting-recordrawdatacalculatekeyparameters(e.g.,insulationresistance,dielectricloss,PDmagnitude).

  • ProduceNETAcomplianttestreports,highlightdeviations,andsuggestremedialactions.

  • MaintenanceCoordination-Workwiththereliabilityteamtointegratetestresultsintopreventivemaintenanceschedules.

  • Initiateworkordersforrepair/replacementwhenthresholdsareexceeded. EquipmentCalibration-EnsurealltestinstrumentsarecalibratedperNETA/ISOrequirements.

  • ParticipateininternalauditsandexternalNETAaccreditationvisits. Safety&Compliance-followallwrittenSOPsandnon-standardworkinstructions,enforceLOTO,andwearproperPPE.

  • Troubleshootbreakdownsusingindustryexperienceandwrittenprocedurestominimizedowntimetocriticalsystems.

The current base salary range for this role is between $20.50 - $46.00/hour. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
