What are Sample Techs?

Sample Techs, or Sample Technicians, are professionals responsible for collecting, preparing, labeling, and processing samples—such as soil, water, biological specimens, or materials—for laboratory analysis. They ensure samples are handled properly to maintain integrity and follow strict protocols to avoid contamination. Sample Techs often work in clinical, environmental, or industrial settings and assist scientists or lab staff in conducting tests and recording results. Their work is crucial for accurate data collection and supports research, quality control, and regulatory compliance.
