Job description

Reflex Performance Resources is looking for a highly organized, hands-on Showroom Assistant / Sample Coordinator to support our Sales Team and help manage the daily flow of activewear apparel samples in our showroom and sample library.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in a retail stockroom, warehouse, sample room, or showroom environment who is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable staying active throughout the day. The person in this position will report to the Sales Manager and will be responsible for helping keep samples organized, accounted for, prepared, shipped, and available as needed for sales and showroom activity.


Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key point of support for incoming and outgoing showroom and sample library samples
  • Unpack, distribute, organize, and categorize samples daily as directed
  • Maintain the day-to-day organization of the sample library
  • Maintain an accurate check-in/check-out sample log
  • Prepare samples as needed for upcoming appointments, accounts, and internal meetings
  • Gather, pack, ship, and send samples through UPS, FedEx, and other shipping methods as directed by the Sales Team
  • Run local, on-foot errands related to samples, showroom needs, and Sales Team support
  • Help create and maintain a system for identifying and disposing of samples that are no longer needed
  • Assist with inventory reports and other basic sample-related reports as directed
  • Suggest practical improvements to sample organization and tracking systems where appropriate
  • Support additional showroom and sample-related tasks as directed by management

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience in a retail stockroom, warehouse, sample room, showroom, or similar hands-on inventory support role
  • Apparel, fashion, activewear, or showroom experience is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Able to follow direction accurately and manage tasks through completion
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong time management skills
  • Quick learner who can understand and follow internal processes
  • Comfortable with basic computer work, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Comfortable using basic spreadsheets and maintaining simple logs or reports
  • Able to take ownership of assigned sample organization and tracking responsibilities

Physical Requirements

  • Able to move clothing samples, sample cartons, and rolling racks as part of the daily role
  • Able to lift and move boxes of apparel samples up to approximately 30 pounds
  • Able to climb ladders as needed to access or organize samples
  • Comfortable being active throughout the day, including standing, walking, unpacking, organizing, packing, and moving samples
