Job description

Skyline offers analytical services to the mining industry. When a mine wants to know if they have copper, gold or silver in their soil they send us samples in the form of core or rock ship. 

Sample Prep Technicians: receive the samples of core, rock ship, or soil. These samples are split, crushed, and pulverized to create a powder-size sample.

· 2nd shift, $17.90/hr, 1:30p-10:00p, voluntary OT available on Saturday's

· This labor-intensive position has prolonged standing, bending, and lifting up to 65 lbs.

· Employees in this position are exposed to the powder dust and are required to wear a respirator and personal protective equipment provided by the company.

-Employment is contingent on completing pre-hire screening (E-Verify, Criminal Background Check, Drug Screening (urine and 90-day lookback hair test), and fingerprints. Lab Technician positions are designated as “safety-sensitive” under Arizona Drug Testing Statues.

· Outdoor and Indoor work environment.
