Job description

Our client, a leading organization in the scientific and laboratory support industry, is seeking a dedicated Sample Coordinator to join their team. As a Sample Coordinator, you will be an integral part of the laboratory support staff, assisting with sample handling and ensuring compliance with established procedures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Sample Coordinator

Location: Middleton, WI

Pay Range: $18.18

Shift: 1st Shift

What's the Job?

  • Perform a variety of sample and standard handling tasks including receipt, check-in, labeling, inventory, and transport.
  • Communicate the status of samples and standards to laboratory staff effectively.
  • Guide and advise laboratory staff on sample handling procedures to ensure compliance.
  • Complete investigation and deviation forms, and determine appropriate CAPAs.
  • Review laboratory requests for accuracy and compliance with SOPs, providing feedback as needed.

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with relevant formal academic or vocational qualification.
  • Previous experience of at least 2 years in a laboratory support or related role.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory control and laboratory regulatory requirements.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
