Job description

 Salary Range: $65,040.00 - $97,561.00 

Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Associate A&D Representative to help expand our presence across the DC-Baltimore A&D community. This is a developmental, field-based role focused on building relationships with architecture and design firms while supporting project activity, dealer coordination, and day-to-day sales execution.

The Associate A&D Representative will partner closely with the Territory Sales Manager and other Mid-Atlantic Sales teams members to drive specification opportunities, maintain consistent market visibility, and support projects from early design through installation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being in the field, building relationships, and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. Success in this role requires strong organization, follow-through, and a willingness to take initiative while supporting a high-volume territory.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

A&D Relationship Development & Market Visibility

  • Regularly visit architecture and interior design firms across the DC-Baltimore territory
  • Deliver product presentations and educational sessions (including CEUs as needed)
  • Build trusted relationships by providing responsive support, product expertise, and specification guidance
  • Maintain consistent presence through studio visits, jobsite meetings, and industry events

Dealer Collaboration & Project Conversion

  • Work directly with dealerships on pricing, discounts, specifications, and bid support
  • Track projects from concept through specification and installation
  • Execute internal processes (special pricing requests, custom quotes, project registrations) as required by customers

End-User Engagement (Design-Aligned Accounts)

  • Support select end-user accounts aligned with design firms
  • Act as liaison between end users, designers, dealers, and internal teams

Sample Inventory, Delivery & Library Support

  • Create manifests, coordinate deliveries/pick-ups, and transport samples as required by customers
  • Update A&D and dealer libraries with current materials and finish binders

Order Health, Expediting & Warranty Support

  • Support order expediting and issue resolution with internal teams
  • Assist with warranty claim management

Sales Operations, Scheduling & Reporting

  • Support scheduling of appointments, presentations, and territory activities
  • Create and deliver PowerPoint presentations
Qualifications, Skills and Education:

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years sales support or relevant customer-facing experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel
  • Ability to lift, move, and deliver product samples, including seating weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to maintain a flexible schedule, including occasional evening events

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in contract furniture, A&D sales, or commercial interiors
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with Salesforce and spec tools (CAP, CET)
  • Understanding of the DC and Baltimore design communities

Working conditions:

  • Remote role based within the DC, Northern Virginia, or Baltimore territory
  • Frequent local travel required; must be able to attend in-person meetings, jobsite visits, and industry events
  • Flexibility to support occasional evening events and activities outside standard business hours
  • Ability to lift, transport, and manage product samples as needed
  • Professional presence required for client-facing interactions
