This role is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance while connecting with families during scheduled appointments or assessments. Our community health clinic serves vulnerable populations, providing essential early intervention services tailored to the unique needs of children aged birth to three years. This setting prioritizes health and safety while embracing the latest practices in social work and developmental support.

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine the needs of children and their families, utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Actively participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP), ensuring they are tailored to meet each child’s developmental milestones.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to monitor the effectiveness of services, adjusting strategies based on ongoing assessments and family feedback.
• Develop strong rapport with children and their families, promoting a nurturing and supportive environment conducive to learning and growth.
• Utilize a coaching model and emphasis on natural environment teaching to deliver services in home or community settings, enhancing engagement and development.
• Provide information and resources to families regarding their child's development, ensuring they are empowered to support their child's learning at home.
• Maintain compliance with all relevant Federal and State regulations to ensure the highest standards of care.

The primary focus of this role is working with infants and toddlers who exhibit developmental delays or disabilities. As an LCSW within our Children's Services team, you will assist young children in acquiring essential skills during their formative years, including physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication abilities. Supporting families through the early intervention process is crucial to ensuring positive outcomes for the children.

• Must possess a Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) recognized by the Department of Public Health.
• A valid driver's license is required for possible travel for home visits or community engagement.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills paired with strong communication abilities.
• A commitment to adapting strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and individual family needs.
• Respectful and collaborative demeanor, fostering teamwork within a multidisciplinary setting.

• A minimum of one year of experience working with children in early intervention programs is preferred.
• Experience using Natural Learning Environment Practices to inform intervention and engagement strategies.
