Job Description Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Assistant Manager, Ecommerce to support the growth of our beauty brands across Amazon and Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) channels. This role will be responsible for managing the full ecommerce lifecycle, including product launches, brand development, merchandising, promotions, inventory planning, and digital advertising.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing Amazon Seller Central and Shopify storefronts, understands ecommerce growth strategies, and can effectively execute across multiple functions to drive sales and profitability.Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

Ecommerce Channel Management

  • Manage day-to-day operations for Amazon Seller Central and Shopify ecommerce channels.
  • Execute new product launches, including listing creation, content optimization, pricing, and inventory setup.
  • Monitor sales performance, traffic, conversion rates, and key business metrics to identify growth opportunities.
  • Ensure accurate product information, merchandising, and customer experience across all digital touchpoints.

Brand Building & Merchandising

  • Develop and execute brand-building initiatives across Amazon and D2C platforms.
  • Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to enhance brand presence, product storytelling, and customer engagement.
  • Maintain consistent brand messaging, imagery, and content across all ecommerce channels.
  • Support seasonal campaigns, category expansions, and product assortment strategies.

Promotions & Revenue Growth

  • Plan and execute promotional calendars, including Amazon Deals, Lightning Deals, Prime Day, Black Friday/Cyber Monday, and Shopify promotions.
  • Analyze promotional performance and recommend optimization strategies.
  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and market opportunities.

Inventory & Operations Management

  • Forecast inventory demand based on sales trends, promotions, and seasonality.
  • Coordinate with supply chain and warehouse teams to maintain healthy inventory levels and prevent stockouts.
  • Monitor inventory health, replenishment cycles, and sell-through rates.
  • Support operational improvements to maximize efficiency and profitability.

Retail Media & Digital Advertising

  • Manage and optimize Amazon PPC campaigns, including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, and DSP initiatives as applicable.
  • Manage Google Ads campaigns including Search, Shopping, Performance Max, and Display campaigns.
  • Analyze advertising performance, ROAS, ACOS, TACOS, CPC, and conversion metrics.
  • Develop data-driven recommendations to improve customer acquisition and maximize advertising effectiveness.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare regular business performance reports and provide actionable insights.
  • Analyze sales, traffic, conversion, advertising, and customer behavior data.
  • Identify opportunities to improve revenue, profitability, and operational performance.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Ecommerce, Merchandising, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of ecommerce experience with direct responsibility for online marketplace and D2C channels.
  • Hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central and Shopify (required).
  • Experience managing Amazon PPC and Google Ads campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make business recommendations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ecommerce reporting tools.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred

  • Experience within the beauty and care, or lifestyle categories.
  • Experience with Amazon Brand Registry, A+ Content, Brand Stores, and Amazon promotional programs.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Klaviyo, Triple Whale, or similar ecommerce analytics platforms.
  • Experience with inventory forecasting and demand planning.
  • Understanding of SEO, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and customer lifecycle marketing.

The anticipated compensation range is

22.75 - 44.50 USD Hourly
