Location: Remote with expectation to be onsite in Thomasville, North Carolina to get acclimated for the first couple of weeks
Duration: Permanent
Salary Range: $130-135K
Work Authorization: Candidates must be able to work on w2 without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
Role Overview
The Salesforce Developer II will design world-class Salesforce applications for evolving CRM requirements. This position is responsible for developing code-based solutions within the Salesforce platform and will work with Business Analysts and Salesforce Administrators to develop solutions that support business requirements. The ideal candidate will also possess the skills to deliver scalable, high-performance visual analytics using Tableau and Salesforce data.
Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze business requirements, translating those requirements into customized solutions using the Salesforce platform.
  • Design, code, and implement Salesforce applications.
  • Develop Apex (classes and triggers), Lightning Components, and Visualforce to extend Salesforce capabilities.
  • Assist with the estimation of work effort and set a realistic schedule for development.
  • Assist with each release cycle to implement and deploy new or updated applications and code.
  • Develop integrations from Salesforce to internal proprietary and third-party services.
  • Test the stability and functionality of the application.
  • Troubleshoot and fix bugs.
  • Maintain the security and integrity of the application software.
  • Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
  • Support Tableau Server/Cloud deployments, publishing, scheduling, and refreshes.
Required Qualifications
  • Top Must-Haves:
    • 5-6 years of exp. working on Salesforce platform with Apex classes
    • Agent Force exp. would be highly desired
    • Excellent Communication skills to work across all levels of the business
    • Basic SQL skills (pulling data, joining tables, views, etc.)

  • Nice to Haves:
    • Tableau dashboard development skills

Education: A bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering is preferred.
Experience:
  • 5+ years of Salesforce development experience.
  • Experience developing customer-facing interfaces.
  • Experience writing Apex classes and triggers.
  • Understanding of and experience with Salesforce architecture and API.
  • Experience using GitHub or other version control software.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with other applications.
  • 2+ years of experience developing dashboards using Tableau.
  • Experience working with Salesforce data and objects.
  • Experience with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Cloud.

Technical Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal, written communication, and data presentation skills, with an ability to communicate with both business and technical teams.
  • Proficiency in SQL for querying and data analysis.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Platform Developer II Certification is preferred.
