Introduction

The Salesforce Lead Engineer will serve as the highest level of technical authority for the enterprise Salesforce ecosystem. This role involves defining platform architecture, establishing engineering and governance standards, leading modernization efforts, and ensuring the scalability, security, and maintainability of Salesforce solutions as the business grows.

ResponsibilitiesTechnical Leadership:
  • Define and govern Salesforce architecture standards
  • Lead architectural reviews and technical decision-making
  • Mentor senior engineers, technical leads, and solution architects
Salesforce Architecture & Solution Design:
  • Design scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions
  • Architect for scale within platform constraints
  • Evaluate new Salesforce capabilities and adoption strategies
Platform Engineering & Development:
  • Lead development using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Flows
  • Ensure adherence to secure development and code quality standards
  • Establish standards for maintenance and retirement of legacy frameworks
Enterprise Integration:
  • Design and govern integration solutions using APIs and middleware platforms
  • Define enterprise integration patterns and API strategy
  • Collaborate with enterprise architects to align integrations with technology strategy
Data Architecture & Governance:
  • Own the Salesforce data model and system-of-record definitions
