Job description

Senior Salesforce Architect

Join Radwell International as we build on our Salesforce foundationโ€”a transformative initiative that will modernize how we serve customers across our operations. We've successfully implemented our initial phase and are now focused on launching the next critical milestones of our journey while developing a holistic enterprise roadmap.

You'll join a newly formed global Salesforce team that's building our foundation from the ground upโ€”establishing best practices, expanding capabilities, and scaling our footprint across the US, EU, Asia, and beyond. You'll collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Architects, Developers, Admins, Integrations, and stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Digital to shape how Salesforce supports the business.

As a Salesforce Architect, you'll translate complex business challenges into elegant solutions that power how we serve thousands of customers globally. This is not a maintenance roleโ€”it's a chance to have meaningful autonomy within a collaborative, technically minded group that's building something new together. You'll design and write code that enables millions in revenue, build automations that save thousands of hours, design integrations that connect critical systems, and make decisions that shape our technology foundation for years to come.

Critically, this is not a role that tosses requirements over a wall to a development team. You'll engage directly with end users and business stakeholders to understand how they work, translate that understanding into crisp requirements and user stories, and then build the solutions yourself. If you've ever wished you could skip the telephone game between business and engineeringโ€”this is that role.

If you're passionate about technology enablement, love leading architectural decisions and platform strategy, and enjoy solving complex problems with measurable business impact, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Own Solution Architecture & Hands-On Implementation

โ€ข Lead end-to-end solution design for complex Salesforce features, and personally implement the solutions you architectโ€”either by leading the development team or executing the solutions with hands-on-keyboard

โ€ข Design and build custom Apex solutions (classes, triggers, batch processes, schedulers, async frameworks) following SOLID principles and platform best practices

โ€ข Architect and implement Lightning Web Components (LWC) for high-performance, user-facing interfaces that meet demanding speed-to-action requirements

โ€ข Own the custom data modelโ€”including complex junction objects, multi-record-type Account structures, and shared relationship modelsโ€”and evolve it as the business scales

โ€ข Evaluate build vs. configure tradeoffs and lead declarative solutions (Flow, Process Builder) where appropriate, ensuring the org stays maintainable long-term

Business Requirements Analysis

โ€ข Engage with end users, front-line managers, and business stakeholders to understand current-state processes, pain points, and goals

โ€ข Execute discovery sessions and working meetings, asking questions to surface unstated requirements and edge cases before they become production defects

โ€ข Author clear, well-structured user stories in Given/When/Then format with specific acceptance criteria that can be quickly estimated for sprint refinement, reviewed and approved by business stakeholders, executed directly by developers, and tested clearly by QA engineers

โ€ข Decompose epics and features into sprint-ready developer stories with realistic effort estimates, contributing to backlog maintenance and refinement

โ€ข Serve as the connective tissue between the business and the technical team, reducing miscommunication, rework, and the "that's not what I asked for" moments

Integration Architecture

โ€ข Design and implement the integration layer connecting Salesforce to enterprise micro-services that bridge ERP, marketing automation, CTI platforms, web platforms, and data infrastructure

โ€ข Architect and build event-driven solutions using Platform Events, Change Data Capture, and middleware patterns to enable real-time, reliable data synchronization across systems

โ€ข Lead the design of bidirectional sync patterns, including master data flow ownership, error handling strategies (auto-retry, exponential backoff, manual re-trigger), and failure visibility

โ€ข Evaluate and implement AppExchange solutions and third-party connectors, ensuring they meet architecture and governance standards

โ€ข Produce integration architecture documentation including data flow diagrams, API contracts, and error handling specifications

CTI & Omnichannel Implementation with Case Management

โ€ข Architect and implement our call center platform integration into Salesforce Omnichannel, including screen pop, click-to-dial, activity logging, and routing configuration

โ€ข Design the full case management lifecycle within Service Cloud, including queue management, assignment rules, escalation paths, and agent workspace configuration

โ€ข Ensure CTI implementation meets performance and usability benchmarks for Inside Sales and Customer Service Representatives

Platform Governance & Quality

โ€ข Define and enforce development standards, naming conventions, governor limit strategies, and secure coding patterns across the team

โ€ข Lead code reviews, providing substantive architectural feedback

โ€ข Enhance and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment across sandbox environments

โ€ข Manage org health proactively: technical debt prioritization, release impact analysis, and dependency mapping

โ€ข Write comprehensive test classes and establish QA handoff standards, including Given/When/Then acceptance criteria alignment

Technical Leadership & Collaboration

โ€ข Serve as a technical authority on Salesforce platform capabilities, constraints, and strategic direction

โ€ข Leverage modern AI-assisted tooling (including Salesforce native AI capabilities and developer copilots) to accelerate implementation, improve quality, and reduce delivery frictionโ€”while maintaining architectural rigor and code correctness

โ€ข Augment Business Analysts to translate business requirements into technical specifications, data models, and architectural designs

โ€ข Drive architectural decision records and maintain living documentation of system architecture, integration patterns, and design rationale

โ€ข Mentor developers and admins, raising the technical bar of the team without creating dependency bottlenecks

โ€ข Stay current with Salesforce releases, evaluate new features, and bring forward-looking recommendations to the roadmap

What You Bring Your Technical Skills

โ€ข Solution Design: Substantial, demonstrable experience taking business requests directly and creating a detailed technical design including understanding current state, reverting questions and clarifying ambiguity with stakeholders to understand business needs and value, developing future state documentation considering platform capabilities and best practices, and breaking down work into executable development tasks.

โ€ข Apex and LWC Development: 5+ years writing production Apex code and building modern UI components with LWC, including: Apex triggers, Flows, Javascript, CSS, and performance optimization

โ€ข Integration Patterns: Proven experience architecting integrations from scratch including data modeling, REST API implementation, executing platform events, and data integrations with external data lakes; strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns

โ€ข Data Modeling: Demonstrated experience designing complex data models, including multi-object relationships and data sharing models. Strong command of SOQL and SOSL for efficient data retrieval and manipulation

โ€ข Low Code / No Code solutions: Demonstrable experience utilizing low code / no code tools to deliver business value, including implementation of pre-built marketplace apps

โ€ข Call Center Platforms: Experience integrating Salesforce with CTI using omnichannel platforms (ex: Genesys, NICE, or equivalent)

โ€ข Platform Governance: Deep understanding of governor limits, best practices, and secure coding patterns

โ€ข DevOps: Prior experience creating CI/CD in Salesforceโ€”Flosum, Copado, SFDX, or equivalentโ€”including branching, deployment strategy, and environment management

Your Business Analysis Skills

โ€ข Requirements Elicitation: Experience running discovery sessions, asking the right questions, and surfacing what stakeholders actually needโ€”not just what they asked for

โ€ข User Story Authoring: Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria in Given/When/Then format

โ€ข Backlog Management: 2+ years experience decomposing business requirements into developer tasks and estimating effort in sprint planning

โ€ข Technical Writing: Seasoned at producing business process and technical documentation, including user stories, process and data flows, architecture diagrams, and data models, that are clear, current, and used by the team

โ€ข End User Facilitation: Comfortable running working sessions with business users and driving stakeholder sign-off

โ€ข Communication: Translates technical decisions for non-technical stakeholders and vice versa without losing precision

โ€ข Ownership Mentality: You architect it, you build it, you support it, and you improve it

Required Experience & Certifications

โ€ข Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience)

โ€ข 7+ years of Salesforce experience with demonstrated ownership of full-cycle
