Summary
TELUS Digital Salesforce Practice is seeking an experienced Financial Services Cloud Architect to lead the design and delivery of transformative Salesforce solutions for financial services organizations. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, providing strategic guidance and architectural leadership across the Salesforce ecosystem.
As a Financial Services Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for defining scalable solution architectures, leading discovery and design workshops, developing implementation roadmaps, and ensuring successful delivery of Financial Services Cloud programs. You will partner with client leadership teams to align technology investments with business objectives while driving best practices across data architecture, security, compliance, integration strategy, and customer experience.
The ideal candidate combines deep Financial Services Cloud expertise with strong consulting, leadership, and communication skills and has a proven track record delivering enterprise-scale Salesforce transformations within banking, insurance, wealth management, lending, and financial services organizations.
Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end solution architecture for Financial Services Cloud implementations and digital transformation initiatives.
Serve as a strategic advisor to client stakeholders, including executive leadership, business sponsors, operations leaders, and technology teams.
Facilitate discovery workshops to understand business objectives, customer journeys, operational challenges, compliance requirements, and future-state needs.
Develop scalable solution designs, architecture diagrams, data models, and implementation roadmaps aligned with Salesforce and industry best practices.
Architect Financial Services Cloud solutions supporting client onboarding, household management, financial accounts, referrals, relationship management, service operations, sales processes, and client engagement strategies.
Define enterprise data architecture, governance frameworks, security models, compliance controls, and integration strategies across Salesforce and external platforms.
Design solutions that align with regulatory and compliance requirements including privacy, security, audit-ability, and data retention standards.
Lead data migration strategy and planning efforts, ensuring successful transition from legacy CRM, banking, insurance, wealth management, or servicing platforms.
Provide architectural oversight throughout the project lifecycle, including design reviews, configuration guidance, testing strategy, deployment planning, and post-production optimization.
Collaborate with technical architects, developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure solution alignment and delivery excellence.
Drive adoption of Salesforce platform capabilities including Financial Services Cloud, Flow, OmniStudio, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, Agentforce, and related Salesforce technologies.
Support pre-sales activities including solution estimation, proposal development, architecture reviews, executive presentations, and pursuit strategy.
Mentor consultants and solution engineers while promoting architectural standards, delivery methodologies, and best practices across the Salesforce Practice.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Finance, or related field.
7+ years of Salesforce platform experience.
3+ years serving as a Solution Architect, Technical Architect, Lead Consultant, or equivalent leadership role.
Deep expertise in Financial Services Cloud and financial services business processes.
Strong understanding of Financial Services Cloud data architecture, including households, relationships, financial accounts, referrals, goals, interactions, and customer lifecycle management.
Experience designing enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions involving multiple clouds, integrations, and complex data migrations.
Experience working with banking, insurance, lending, wealth management, capital markets, or other financial services organizations.
Strong understanding of security, compliance, governance, and regulatory considerations within financial services environments.
Proven experience developing enterprise data models, security architectures, and integration frameworks.
Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities including Financial Services Cloud, Flow, OmniStudio, Experience Cloud, and Data Cloud.
Exceptional communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and consulting skills.
Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions and strategic roadmaps.
Preferred Qualifications
Salesforce Financial Services Cloud Accredited Professional or equivalent Financial Services Cloud credentials.
Salesforce Application Architect Certification.
Salesforce System Architect Certification.
Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant Certification.
Experience with core banking systems, policy administration systems, wealth management platforms, loan origination systems, or related financial services technologies.
Experience leading enterprise data migration and modernization initiatives.
Experience supporting pre-sales activities, solution estimation, and executive presentations.
Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and large-scale program execution.
