Job description

Role: Salesforce Developer

Location: Arlington, VA. Candidate must be local

Job Description:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, SOQL, and Flows.
  • Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and present updates in a clear, professional manner.
  • Configure and optimize Salesforce processes including automation, reporting, and analytics.
  • Develop, test, and deploy code with a strong focus on quality and performance (including unit tests and 100% code coverage).
  • Integrate Salesforce with external applications and data sources using APIs, Mulesoft, and other ETL tools.
  • Support data migration efforts, ensuring accuracy and security of large-scale record transfers.
  • Participate in full software development lifecycle, including requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-deployment support.
  • Provide guidance and troubleshooting for Salesforce issues, ensuring robust and user-friendly solutions.


Qualifications

  • 3–7 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience (federal or enterprise projects preferred).
  • Proficiency in Apex, LWC, Aura, SOQL, Flows, Process Builder, and Salesforce configuration.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices, security, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with API integration, data migration, and DevOps tools (SFDX, Git, Change Sets).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Professional presence with strong client-facing skills.
  • Active Salesforce Administrator Certification (additional certifications a plus).
  • Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one preferred.
