Role: Salesforce OMS Technical Architect (Contract)

Overview

A globalย organization is hiring a Salesforce Order Management Technical Architect to support the design and implementation of order management capabilities within a broader Salesforce ecosystem. This role will focus on building scalable solutions, aligning technical design with business needs, and driving integration across multiple enterprise platforms.


What Youโ€™ll Be Doing
  • Own the end-to-end technical design of Salesforce Order Management solutions within a multi-cloud Salesforce environment
  • Convert functional requirements into scalable architecture, including data structures and integration patterns
  • Define and oversee integrations between Salesforce and external platforms (e.g., ERP, warehouse/logistics, payments, tax, fulfillment systems), utilizing middleware such as MuleSoft or comparable tools
  • Provide technical direction to engineering teams, ensuring best practices around performance, scalability, and maintainability
  • Contribute to release strategy, environment planning, and deployment readiness across project lifecycles

What Weโ€™re Looking For
  • Hands-on experience leading the end-to-end design and implementation ofย Salesforce Order Management, including configuration, automation (flows), APIs, and data modeling
  • Background integrating Salesforce with ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent systems)
  • Strong knowledge of the broader Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud); exposure to Commerce Cloud is beneficial
  • Experience with enterprise integration tools (MuleSoft preferred, but not required)
